Position Overview

The Technical Product Manager will manage the development, integration, administration and support of MOD’s store systems, including, but not limited to loyalty, on-line ordering and POS.  The Technical Product Manager will manage a small team and be a subject matter expert able to bring MOD’s systems together to form a fully integrated guest experience. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Point of Sale (POS) system, loyalty, and online ordering systems
  • Make sure that platforms are intuitive, accessible and usable
  • Manage the store technology team of at least 3 individuals   
  • Ensure store technology data is consistently available for reporting and analytics
  • As required, manage and develop custom features/functionality
  • Manage key technical relationships with platform vendors
  • Work closely with IT Leadership and IT peers, ensure needs and expectations of organizational stake holders, business partners, external customers, and third-party organizations are met and/or exceeded
  • Partner with various business units to create seamless  store experiences
  • Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements with the business for store technology core processes and services.
  • Perform other duties as necessary


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of retail/restaurant technology experience
  • Experience translating business objectives into technology and operational processes to achieve goals.
  • Expertise with platform integrations API development
  • Highly process and detail-oriented and has a history of implementing workflow and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience with project management
  • Must have experience participating in cross functional teams
  • Strong leader; able to lead teams with varying degrees of expertise and keep teams on task to meet company objectives
  • Problem solver; solutions oriented
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more technology resources
  • Team player with relationship building skills with a history of heavy interaction with executive management 
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology preferred


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in programming with either C# .NET, PHP
  • Experience in eCommerce, business intelligence, software/system integration, and system development.
  • Experience with Brink/Par POS, Olo and Punchh


Physical Requirements

Office Semi-Technical work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to handle or move objects. Semi-regularly positioning oneself (e.g., stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch) to set up, install, and repair computer equipment. Systems & Network Admin/Engineers regularly handle or move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.; occasionally up to 40lbs (team lift okay). Deskside Support regularly handle or move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. Communicate or exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person or electronically.
