Compensation: $101,000 - $108,000
Actual salaries will be based on candidates qualifications, competencies, experience and geographic location. .

Summary
The Sourcing Manager will report to the Director of Supply Chain. You will be responsible for ensuring product availability, quality and cost effectiveness across the enterprise while delivering the MOD experience. You will maintain strong partnerships with all vendors, meet product needs on a timely basis and evaluate and recommend new products to enhance standards and drive P&L metrics. You will work with the supply chain team to execute the annual MOD strategic plan. You will provide guidance to and mentor more junior members of the team.
This is a 4-day a week in office role working in our Restaurant Support Center, located in Bellevue.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end sourcing across several major categories, including developing category/sourcing strategies, bottom-up cost modeling, running competitive RFX events, negotiating contracts and ongoing supplier management
- Evaluating supplier proposals; reviewing proposed products and services
- Negotiating cost effective pricing programs, adhering to MOD guidelines and quality specifications
- Being accountable for supplier relationships and performance management
- Facilitating Key Business Reviews to ensure alignment with suppliers related to performance, continuous improvement goals, and platform strategy.
- Facilitate supplier involvement in joint continuous improvement efforts with focus on quality and lead-time.
- Maintaining Supplier Scorecards and KPIs to facilitate continuous improvement in the areas of Production, Fulfillment, Quality, Cost of Goods, Inventory Management, Waste, and other metrics.
- Ensuring standard costs are set and aligned to contractual commitments.
- Evaluating the impact resulting from changes and exceptions in processes
- Helping to reinforce and improve MOD’s procurement standards and promote best practices.
- Assisting in the timely resolution of day-to-day issues that occur at MOD Pizza locations with your category or supplier partners.
- Building and maintaining solid relationships with strategic supply chain partners
- Partnering with Culinary, Marketing, and Operations Services to enhance menu offerings and packaging solutions at favorable pricing.
- Identifying areas for cost reduction, supporting efforts to improve value wherever possible.
- Evaluating impact resulting from changes and exceptions in processes
- Collaborating with food safety and quality to mitigate risks throughout the supply chain
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct work experience in food sourcing / supply chain management
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Base understanding and working knowledge of purchasing and supply management, and how it relates to operations.
- Experience commercializing multi-market/region, multi-channel product introductions.
- Strong working knowledge of sourcing, supply management, logistics, and food and beverage categories
- Ability to run cost savings analysis measuring savings/impact.
- Familiarity with operational needs, functions and objectives.
- Ability to travel as required (e.g., supplier visits)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

Physical Requirements
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
