Compensation: $82,000 - $90,049

Actual salaries will be based on candidates qualifications, competencies, experience and geographic location. .

Position Overview

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst reports to the Director of Supply Chain Operations. They are responsible for collecting and analyzing supply chain data, recommending improvements to increase performance and reduce cost or add value, monitor commodities markets and predict impacts.  They work closely with the entire Supply Chain team to execute MOD strategic plans. 

Work Schedule and Location

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will work Monday – Thursday onsite in our Support Center located in Bellevue, Washington. Home office/remote work is permitted on Friday; employees can work in office 5 days per week if they prefer. Your schedule reflects a standard business day and has flexibility to come in early or stay late based on your personal and work demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently identify problems and recommend decisions for tactical issues
  • Inventory evaluation, positioning, and strategy
  • Evaluate or assist in the evaluation of proposals and determination of suppliers; review proposed products and services
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and support efforts to improve value wherever possible
  • Evaluate impact resulting from changes and exceptions in processes
  • Publish a weekly commodity update for the executive team
  • Monitor contracted pricing and compliance
  • Create reports, utilizing back office software, BI, and vendors data for consumption by the supply chain team and others
  • Maintain and track product and pricing information in back-office software system
  • New product cost, ROI and other various ad-hoc analyses
  • Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance
  • Perform other duties as determined by management

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years in financial analysis roles management
  • Strong Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Financial modeling and analysis
  • Quick learner who is passionate about constant improvement
  • Proficient with Excel and other MS Office Tools
  • A degree in a finance related field or equivalent experience, MBA a plus
  • Very strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Base understanding and working knowledge of purchasing and supply management, and how it relates to operations.
  • Ability to run cost savings analysis measuring savings/impact.
  • Familiarity with operational needs, functions and objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Restaurant industry experience in related role

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
