Compensation: $100,000 - $128,000
*Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, competencies, experience, geographic location.

Senior Sourcing Manager Overview
The Senior Sourcing Manager will report to the Director of Supply Chain. You will work closely with Supply Chain leadership to help execute on supply chain strategy across critical categories. You will enable sustained growth and ensure an appropriate supplier relationship structure is in place so support our indirect services across the enterprise. You will interact with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, meet product needs on a timely basis, and evaluate and recommend services or systems to enhance MOD standards and drive P&L metrics. You will support the supply chain team in executing the annual MOD strategic plan, managing impactful initiatives end-to-end. In addition, you will provide guidance and mentorship to the Supply Chain team and may directly manage sourcing specialists.
Remote and Schedule Expectations
The Senior Sourcing Manager is a remote position. Employees are expected to maintain a home office. Laptop and associated hardware will be provided. Seattle area residents are encouraged work in our Bellevue Support Center as frequently as they desire. Remote employees must reside in a state where MOD operates. Your schedule is a standard business day and has flexibility to come in early or stay late based on your personal and work demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading end-to-end sourcing across several major categories, including developing category/sourcing strategies, bottom-up cost modeling, running competitive RFX events, negotiating contracts and ongoing supplier management
- Evaluating supplier proposals; review proposed products and services
- Negotiating cost-effective pricing programs, adhering to MOD guidelines and quality specifications
- Being accountable for supplier relationships and performance management
- Leading Key Business Reviews to ensure alignment with suppliers related to performance, continuous improvement goals, and platform strategy
- Facilitating supplier involvement in joint continuous improvement efforts with a focus on impact, quality, and lead-time
- Developing and maintaining Supplier Scorecards and KPIs to facilitate continuous improvement in Production, Fulfillment, Quality, Cost of Goods, Inventory Management, Waste, and other metrics.
- Identifying areas for cost reduction and support efforts to improve value wherever possible
- Partnering with cross functional stakeholder groups to enhance internal and external service experiences with our suppliers at favorable pricing
- Overseeing the timely resolution of day-to-day Supply Chain issues that occur at MOD Pizza locations in relation to the categories you support
- Ensuring best-in-class contracts are in place to protect MOD interests and the customer experience
- Ensuring that standard costs are set and aligned to contractual commitments
- Mitigating risk of disruptions for services and processes you have established with suppliers
- Evaluating the impact resulting from changes and exceptions in processes
- Reinforcing and improving MOD’s procurement standards, and promote best practices

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct work experience one or more of the following indirect categories:
- Technology
- Store Development / Real Estate & Facilities
- Marketing
- Operations
- 7+ years of direct work experience in process and project management
- Very strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Supply chain operations exposure in multiple functional areas beyond Sourcing such as Demand Planning and Inventory Management
- Experience commercializing multi-market/region, multi-channel new supplier onboarding and introductions
- Experience in international supply chain and supporting restaurants outside the US
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of purchasing and supply management, and how it relates to operations
- Ability to run cost savings analysis measuring savings/impact
- Intermediate to Advanced use of functional and program tools such as Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet
- Ability to travel (up to 15%)
Physical Requirements
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
