Compensation: $27.84 - $34.64 per hour
Actual salaries will be based on candidates qualifications, competencies, experience and geographic location. .

Summary
The Senior Legal Operations Administrator is a senior, non-attorney role responsible for administering legal department operations, contract administration, and complex legal projects under the supervision of MOD’s in-house attorneys. This role supports the Legal Department’s operational effectiveness across U.S. and Canadian restaurant operations and interfaces regularly with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
This position is not an attorney role and does not involve the independent practice of law in Washington State or any other U.S. jurisdiction.
Work Location and Schedule Expectations
The Senior Legal Operations Administrator will work Monday – Thursday onsite at our Support Center located in Bellevue, Washington. Home office/remote work is permitted on Friday; employees can work in office 5 days per week if they prefer. Your schedule is a standard business day and has the flexibility to come in early or stay late based on your personal and work demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior member of the Legal Department, executing departmental operations and supporting legal service delivery across the business.
- Act as the primary administrator and gatekeeper for legal intake requests, including contract requests, estoppels, amendments, and other legal support inquiries. Manage legal department workflows, calendars, deadlines, and documentation systems.
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, templates, and transactional documents under the supervision and direction of MOD’s in-house attorneys.
- Coordinate contract review and execution processes with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
- Maintain and oversee MOD’s contracts database and contract lifecycle management processes.
- Assist with internal investigations relating to employment, operational, or incident-based matters, including fact-gathering and documentation coordination with People Support, Operations, Payroll, IT, and Legal.
- Manage customer incident reporting and insurance coordination.
- Assist with preparation of corporate legal filings; ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents.
- Support litigation matters, including document holds, discovery coordination, insurance correspondence, and outside counsel management.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or recommendations for review by MOD’s in-house attorneys.
- Support global entity management and corporate governance activities, including annual filings, business registrations, fictitious name filings, and corporate records maintenance.
- Coordinate with outside service providers and counsel regarding entity compliance matters.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years’ experience in a legal administrative capacity, with significant oversight and operational responsibilities
- Functional expertise in litigation and discovery processes, contract management, and government business filings
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and work efficiently and independently in a high-volume/high velocity, results-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail or restaurant industry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
