Project Manager - Continuous Improvement

Position Overview

As Project Manager on the Continuous Improvement Team, you’ll wear many hats. Among them, you will oversee a variety of Continuous Improvement projects across multiple departments - working on very tight deadlines while coordinating with cross-functional partners. 

Ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial type who likes to get their hands dirty. You are highly organized. You are resourceful and a problem-solver, even when you don’t fully understand the problem. You communicate effectively and efficiently with people across organizational and experience levels. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates communication between various project stakeholders
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
  • Utilizing PM tools and templates
  • Presentation skills , stakeholder management
  • Acts as a go-to resource for project-related questions and concerns
  • Juggles multiple projects at a given time, keeping track of project progress in Smartsheet and communicating status to stakeholders as necessary
  • Estimates pricing for production costs with vendors and aligns costs to the current marketing production budget
  • Takes initiative to improve current project management processes

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of project management
  • Knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to effectively lead meetings and present to small and large groups
  • Extremely strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Smartsheet is preferred

 

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
