Compensation: $31.99 - $37.64 per hour
Actual salaries will be based on candidates qualifications, competencies, experience and geographic location. .

Summary
As a Paralegal on MOD legal team your primary responsibility will be in corporate governance matters, contract review, responding to operational-related legal events, providing expertise in documenting, checking and examining statutes & recorded judicial decisions, supporting both inside and outside counsel. You are a trusted resource for MOD’s corporate functions such as real estate, licensing, marketing and supply chain.
Work location and schedule expectations
The Paralegal will work Monday – Thursday onsite in our Support Center located in Bellevue, Washington. Home office/remote work is permitted on Friday; employees can work in office 5 days per week if they prefer. Your schedule is a standard business day and has flexibility to come in early or stay late based on your personal and work demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance of documents and data management systems within MOD’s Legal Department
- Draft corporate documents and resolutions; assist with preparation of regulatory filings; ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents
- Review communication related to real property and evaluate responses to ensure timely resolution
- Perform a large variety of legal assignments and lead routine and non- routine projects, including drafting, reviewing and transmitting legal correspondence and documents
- Manage deadlines, both independently and as requested by MOD’s General Counsel
- Review legal materials and provide comments to the General Counsel in the form of reports and summaries
- Provide regular feedback and consultation to appropriate departments regarding the status of legal projects
- Meet independently with MOD Leaders as representative of the Legal Department and work cross-functionally with all departments
- Attend to administrative matters
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of paralegal experience in law firm or in house legal team
- Functional expertise in contracts, employment law and consumer data protection
- Experience demonstrating ability to flex and shift priorities based on industry trends and changes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant, retail or other customer facing legal support
Physical Requirements
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
