Position Overview

This position contributes to MOD’s success by planning and implementing store programming, projects and promotions. Provide operations expertise and consultation to other departments on plans, projects, and promotions impacting retail operations. Consultation includes planning for, development and testing of products, systems and programs within retail operations that deliver customer experiences that enhance and grow the value of the brand. Consults and provides leadership throughout the Company to identify opportunities and optimize performance in support of the MOD Pizza’s Squad Members and Customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans and supports the testing and implementation of MOD programs to ensure their success
  • Prepares, communicates and partners with cross functional teams on best practices for program development and communication with the stores
  • Manages support of specific project scopes and establishes clear expectations, tactics and timelines for work assigned to the Operations Services team.
  • Participates in long-term planning to improve implementation, sustainment and testing support of field operations
  • Project manages store initiatives or assigned companywide projects as needed
  • Provides operations perspective and expertise on projects, programs and initiatives to optimize store performance relative to sales, profitability and the customer and MOD squad experience.
  • Stays current on in store operations processes by participating in field visits on a per period basis


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of field level multi-unit / manager experience
  • Project management and cross functional leadership experience
  • Self-starter, strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through, and a passion for the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to implement strategic plans and create positive change within the organization
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Acts with honesty and integrity, promote the MOD Pizza culture in all interactions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail; ability to look at situations from several points of view
  • Understanding and commitment to MOD’s Core Values
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building partnerships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Word)


Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
