Compensation: $66,000 - $85,000
*Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, competencies, experience, geographic location.
MOD Pizza offers a total compensation package including:

The Local Restaurant Marketing Leader at MOD Pizza makes it local, personal and authentic. To us, Pizza is Personal. This leader is responsible for developing and executing integrated, localized marketing plans to drive traffic and sales, create a cult-like following, and increase brand awareness.
Restaurants are central to our business at MOD Pizza, and every restaurant matters. We are committed to growing and maintaining strong local identity through collaborative teamwork with community partners, business unit teams, and squad members to improve the guest experience in each interaction and on every channel.
Location: Being in restaurants is where we draw our passion, insights and executional realities. It’s where we form relationships with our communities and squad. This leader must live in or be willing to travel within assigned markets a minimum of 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Support:
- Restaurants at the Center. Train, develop and engage with Restaurant leaders to assess the marketing readiness of each restaurant and establish customized support strategies that include competitive analysis, evolution of trade area, and community dynamics.
- A Culture of LRM. Support development and rollout of MOD Pizza Local Marketing System through material development, testing and in market training and support.
Business Unit/Regional Support:
- Know your Business. Develop and execute business unit marketing plans that align with specific objectives such as sales and traffic growth, guest acquisition, ROI, and brand loyalty.
- What’s Working, What’s Not? Utilize ROI methodologies to measure the effectiveness of marketing plans and recommend adjustments as necessary. Share and implement results to grow the business.
- High Care and High Accountability. Develop strong cross-functional relationships to gain adoption of initiatives, drive engagement, create emotional connection.
3. Functional Support:
⦁ Be Part of the Build. Participate in and develop LRM channel plans and initiatives for new and existing marketing programs, strategies and tools. We are proactive in planning so that we can be reactive to our evolving business.
⦁ Listen to Our Squad and Guests. Identify support needs for restaurants to inform projects, priorities, and resource allocation and prepare solutions-oriented programs.
⦁ Team Development. Help develop and train new squad member growth with team throughout system, company and franchise.
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years of marketing experience required in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment, franchised systems preferred
- Proficiency in media relations, sponsorships, contract negotiation, and assessing marketing impact.
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong understanding of localized marketing tactics and how they fit within brand initiatives.
- Operational mindset with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and confidence in using sales and data to tell a story, read and react
- Expertise in time management and project organization, and ability to be nimble with business needs
- Acts as a brand steward, each engagement with the brand is meaningful and an opportunity to drive traffic or loyalty
- Ability to travel 50-70% within the designated area.
Physical Requirements
This is a field-hybrid position. Ability to activate events onsite including travel by vehicle, setting up event tents, carrying materials in boxes, and active movement for event duration.
