Position Overview

As Creative Director at MOD, you are responsible for bringing thought-leadership and creativity to the MOD brand by managing and inspiring an internal team and outside creative resources to execute exceptional marketing, design and creative campaigns.  You are both a creative leader and a strategic marketer who has experience and a proven track record in building brands and leading diverse projects across channels such as store design, advertising, digital media and products, promotions, packaging, menus, merchandising, video, print, and more.  Storytelling is core to MOD, so you are passionate about bringing all stories – particularly those around our Purpose and our people – to life.

The ideal candidate will be a creative inventor and innovator with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas that can be translated into creative. You should possess a passion for finding and developing creative talent and building strong multi-disciplinary teams.  You have a fine-tuned attention to detail and design aesthetic, but are  able to think about the big picture and maintain focus on strategic business goals. You’ll be comfortable leading and directing a team, but you’ll also have the skills and desire to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done yourself. Given MOD’s furious pace and tight timelines, you’ll have strong project management chops, sound decision-making skills, and an ability to operate scrappy with a high bar. You’re an exceptional collaborator – not just within marketing but across any creative need cross-functionally -- but feel comfortable advocating for and protecting MOD’s point-of-view so the brand stays on its true north path.

Most importantly and consistent with MOD’s purpose, you are passionate about serving others and demonstrating leadership through listening, empathy and a commitment to growing and developing others.
