About the Role

MOD is seeking a dynamic, wicked-sharp person to help us in our next phase of growth as our Corporate Strategy + Stuff Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for developing fact-based insights and tools to support decision-making and strategic projects.  You’ll need a passion for sharing insights with a variety of internal and external stakeholders through stories based in proven research and analytics. The perfect candidate will be extremely curious and eager to partner with leaders and key stakeholders to achieve business objectives at a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. The Corporate Strategy + Stuff Analyst will report directly to the Chief of Stuff.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with teams across the company in the creation and management of strategic and operating plans used for project prioritization, cross-functional alignment, operational execution, and ultimate achievement of our business objectives
  • Prepare written communications and materials for meetings with internal and external stakeholders including employees (aka the MOD Squad), investors, and the Board of Directors
  • Assist leaders in preparing for meetings with key stakeholders, including crafting talking points and anticipating questions
  • Conduct industry and competitor research including assisting with tracking of fast-casual pizza peers, public company comparables, and general market insights
  • Develop fact-based insights and create supporting materials to be utilized in tactical and strategic decision-making
  • Support corporate development activities including analysis, prioritization, and execution of opportunities
  • Assist in the development of new processes and tools for communicating business performance and objectives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide project management, research, and analytical support for ad-hoc cross-functional and strategic projects 

Who You Are

  • A lover of people (and pizza)
  • Experienced in a highly analytical and strategic role within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment or a college graduate
  • Passionate about solving complex problems and able to develop frameworks and analysis that support your solutions
  • Extremely curious and always looking to learn more
  • Capable of working independently within the context of cross-functional team projects
  • Confident in your ability to engage with senior leadership
  • A strong communicator with a knack for telling stories through written and visual communication
  • Someone with an incredible attention-to-detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • An Excel and PowerPoint whiz

Bonus Points

  • 2+ years of full-time experience in consulting, strategy, finance, investor relations, or related fields
  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and executives
  • Experience in the restaurant or retail industry
  • Experience utilizing Tableau for data visualization and analysis

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
