Compensation: $82,500-$90,000
*Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, competencies, experience, geographic location.

Summary
An Business Operations Analyst supports MOD's operations services department in the development and implementation of long-term strategic initiatives by leveraging Lean principles, testing and analytics and scientific techniques to design, implement and improve systems of people, information and physical layouts. The Business Operations Analyst supports operations services function by expanding the knowledge of the CI process and collaborates with every department to execute implementation plans.
As an Business Operations Analyst, you will…
- Leverage mathematical, statistical, and scientific techniques to design, analyze, implement, and improve systems of people, information, equipment and products
- Collaborate with all departments to test and analyze new programs
- Validate project requirements through low fidelity experiments
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data gathering in support of organization wide identified cost savings initiatives
- Analyze gathered data to determine cost benefit analysis of specific initiatives to determine highest probability of return on investment to organization.
- Implement and execute identified Lean projects from conception to completion to deliver cost savings and process efficiencies across the organization
- Responsible for accomplishing objectives through other people requiring effective collaboration and relationship building skills
- Facilitates focused improvement projects to eliminate waste, drives overall efficiency and improves quality
- Responsible for helping the Operations leadership teams achieve business KPI’s through implementation of CI programs
- Acts as a CI resource and coach to build problem solving skills in teams and facilitate improvement efforts
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in leading Lean focused improvements. Understanding of root cause analysis and PDCA cycle, kaizen workshops in the areas of: 5S, standard work, visual management, theory of constraints
- High impact coach that has a proven track record to develop a problem-solving culture across multiple organizations
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to implement cost savings projects across the enterprise
- Solid systems understanding and ability to identify improvements needed
- Creative problem solving and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to effectively interface within all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Deliver training in Lean Principles, C.I. tools and methods
- Facilitate improvement meetings / events in the company
- Coach and mentor all team members in the use of data and ‘speaking with facts & data'
- Guide the team through a structured problem-solving process
- Knowledge of statistical software, SQL, R, Python and simulation modeling software
- Experience with Tableau
