THE MOD IMPACT

WE CALL IT SPREADING MODNESS

We make pizza so we can serve people. We call it Spreading MODness and MOD has spent 10 years doing just that - using our business as a platform to make positive social impacts in the communities we serve. Now with over 350 stores across the US, MOD is becoming a movement - a force for good.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
Our goal is to be a force for good in the communities we serve. One way we do this is through meaningful local partnerships with organizations supporting at-risk youth and families.  For every store we open (and we open a lot) we donate 100% of the proceeds to a local charity. It’s the beginning of a lasting partnership – building a genuine connection between the MOD Squad and their community.

NATIONAL INITIATIVES
With stores all over the country and in the U.K., MOD is able to scale our impact with national partnerships. We have partnered with Generosity Feeds to create over 1 million meals for at-risk youth in our local communities. We have also worked with the JED Foundation to shine a light on teen and young adult suicide through our first ever Impact Pizza – the Isaac. A seriously good pizza making a seriously powerful impact.

IMPACT HIRING
Whether its a first job, a fresh start or a second chance, MOD is focused on our people and creating opportunities for growth. When we talk about impact, we also talk about our hiring practices. Impact Hiring at MOD means intentionally hiring people who have barriers to employment and populations who are under-employed. Our goal is that one-third of our new squad members are impact hires. We know that everyone benefits from this diversity and it makes us stronger.  We also know that talent is everywhere but opportunity is not.

Meet Jeffrey

Jeffrey has been an important part of the MOD Squad at our Bellevue Way store in Washington for the past 3 years.
He is an integral part of the MOD family. MOD wouldn’t be MOD without Jeffrey.
